Riley is a member of the Epsilon Theta chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He joined in spring of 2025, becasue "the morals and views aligned with who I am". His favoirte memory within the organization was winning chapter of the year for the region.

Even though Durham taught herself how to embrodier, she shared "I feel so connected to generations of women who have sat and quilted, needlepointed, embroidered, and mended just like I did with this project".

Spalding also shared the importance of her stuffed animals in her room. "I think [they] are a way of expressing joy in little, personalized ways, that shows interests and creativity, while also incorporating childish fun".
